Universities in the US  are typically divided into three colleges. 

College of Engineering (sometimes termed a School of Engineering and Applied Science). Offers engineering degrees generally in 10-15 majors, including chemical engineering, civil engineering, etc. 

College of Business. Offers business degrees generally in 5-8 majors, including, finance, management, entrepreneurship. 

College of Art and Science (also called College of Letters and Sciences). Offers ‘liberal arts’ degrees in 50-80 subjects, including history, media, economics, philosophy, physics, mathematics, statistics etc.

Accounting is not a generally a major, and is imparted through vocational training.

Philanthrocapitalism is based on the idea that capitalist models are the best way to create economic and social progress. Under philanthrocapitalism, charities are run as business models that employ market-based solutions to problems. The focus is on entrepreneurship, efficiency and quantified costs and benefits. Most philanthrocapitalist organizations are funded and run by the extremely wealthy. Some examples are Bill and Melinda Gates (Gates Foundation) and Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan (Chan Zuckerberg Initiative).

Proselytisation refers to organised efforts from religious institutions to encourage their followers to persuade non-believers to become followers of their religion

"The US-Iran relations had been heavily influenced by Iran's nuclear program. In 2015, Iran agreed to limit its nuclear program through the Iran Nuclear Deal, or the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, between Iran and six other countries (US, UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany). However, former US President Donald Trump withdrew the US from the deal in 2018 and reimposed harsh sanctions on Iran. One major consequence of the deteriorating US-Iran relations is the US killing Iranian General Qasem Soleimani in 2020.

"Wendy Brown coins the term ""wounded attachments"" to critique identity politics as premised on forming social relations based on experiences of suffering, pain, and hurt. At the conclusion of the BLUE competition, Soma has proven himself as one of the world’s top young chefs. He is a member of Tōtsuki’s Elite Ten, the student council at one of the  world's greatest culinary academy. At the same time, he continues to operate Yukihira’s Diner, the humble family restaurant where he learned to cook from his Dad, who is often revered as the greatest chef in the entire world. 

Erina Nakiri, the current headmaster of Tōtsuki, holds a unique place in Soma’s life. While their relationship is complex, she serves as his greatest rival, motivator, and source of validation. Their culinary rivalry is a driving force for both of their growth, pushing them to reach new heights in their cooking.

Now, Soma faces a choice:

Stay at Tōtsuki – refine his craft within its structured system, develop his leadership within the Elite Ten, and continue challenging Erina.

Leave the diner and the academy like his father Joichiro – travel the world, experience new culinary cultures firsthand, and forge his own path outside the academy’s traditions.
