At the conclusion of the BLUE competition, Soma has proven himself as one of the world’s top young chefs. He is a member of Tōtsuki’s Elite Ten, the student council at one of the world's greatest culinary academy. At the same time, he continues to operate Yukihira’s Diner, the humble family restaurant where he learned to cook from his Dad, who is often revered as the greatest chef in the entire world.
Erina Nakiri, the current headmaster of Tōtsuki, holds a unique place in Soma’s life. While their relationship is complex, she serves as his greatest rival, motivator, and source of validation. Their culinary rivalry is a driving force for both of their growth, pushing them to reach new heights in their cooking.
Now, Soma faces a choice:
Stay at Tōtsuki – refine his craft within its structured system, develop his leadership within the Elite Ten, and continue challenging Erina.
Leave the diner and the academy like his father Joichiro – travel the world, experience new culinary cultures firsthand, and forge his own path outside the academy’s traditions.
